Portraits on film

Portraits on film for artists, couples and personal projects, in Berlin or on location.

A portrait session is slower than life usually allows. There is time to settle, to stop performing, and to be photographed as you actually are. I guide when needed, but the best frames usually happen between the poses.

I use medium format or 35mm depending on the session, usually loaded with Kodak Portra, or Kodak Tri-X and T-Max when a portrait calls for black and white.

Sessions

Your portrait, on film

Portrait sessions take place in Berlin, either in a studio, at home, at your workplace, or outdoors in the city. Travel to other locations is possible by arrangement.

A session can be personal, creative, editorial, or simply a way to be photographed with more time and attention. I work with individuals, couples, actors, musicians, artists, and people making work of their own.

Pricing is tailored to the scope of the session, location, and intended usage. If you get in touch, tell me who the portraits are for, where you would like to photograph, and how you plan to use the images.
